Welcome

West Shires Alpaca Group is a friendly regional group for alpaca owners and those interested in alpacas in Shropshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and surrounding counties.  We also welcome members from across the British Isles.

We offer advice, support, social events and learning opportunities to both members and non-members.

What We Do

The West Shires Alpaca Group was founded in 2011 to promote and protect the interests of alpaca owners and breeders, as well as others interested in alpacas and / or their products (such as vets, fibre processors, fabric designers etc.) in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Shropshire by:

  • Sharing information and experience.
  • Running husbandry and training days.
  • Offering practical support to owners.
  • Organising vet days.
  • Helping with promotional days and farm visits.
  • Running shearing and fibre workshops.
  • Helping with craft ideas.
  • Organising and running the Royal Three Counties Show and The Midlands Championship Halter Show.

WSAG AGM Sunday 7th April
